For the purpose of managing Emerald Ash Borer, Alltree Services has been monitoring the Ash Trees within Maple Leaf Acres.  Please see the summary they have prepared indicating the ash trees that require either Treeazin injections monitoring in the spring or their complete removal.  This work will be on going between now and throughout 2017.  Should you require any further information, please contact the office.

Maple Leaf Acres is located on the shores of Lake Belwood. We are listed among Canada’s finest four season Recreational Parks.

Maple Leaf Acres is a seasonal, recreational park for your enjoyment. Leases are available for 6, 9 and 12 month occupancy (original term is 21 years less a day). In addition, the park is open year round on weekends and during the Holiday/New Year break for your enjoyment. Maple Leaf Acres is located 10km east of Fergus, Ontario. Bulk hydro – rate set depending on total expected usage. All utilities and services are subject to the Parks Operating Permits and Ministry of Environment. Season runs from May 1st to October 31st. Water and sewers are turned off at the end of the season. However, water is available on weekends and holidays from the Recreation Center. Lot sizes vary with location. Membership fees to be paid monthly. Property taxes to be paid in two installments due February 28th and September 15th of each year.

Maintenance Fees for 6 month leases:

$219.75 / Per Month

Individual hydro meters. Season runs from May 1st to October 31st. Winter use on weekends and holidays. Water and sewers are available all year. All utilities and services are subject to the Parks Operating Permits and Ministry of Environment. Lot sizes are approximately 45’ by 75’. Membership fees to be paid monthly. Property taxes to be paid in two installments due February 28th and September 15th of each year.

Park Facilities Include:

  • Two Recreational Centers – one is exclusively for adult use and the other is commonly used for Bingo, Dances, Talent Shows, Darts etc

  • A play area for younger children is located beside the gated, outdoor pool.
  • A take-out restaurant.
  • All roads and common areas are maintained year round.

  • Electric golf carts are permitted in the park, gas powered golf carts are not acceptable.

Unlike most other seasonal parks, Maple Leaf Acres is owned and operated by the Maple Leaf Acres Tenants Association. Each leaseholder who is not in arrears for any monies owed to the park is a voting member of the Association. Annual elections determine representation on the Board of Directors for each phase of the park.
